Austria Passport Validity Requirements
. If your Validity Period is 60 months your visa will be valid. If you renewed your current passport.
Issued in the last 10 years and it should be valid for at least 3 months after your date of departure. You need to have at least 6 months left on an adult or child passport to travel to most countries in Europe not including Ireland. Since 2012 every Austrian child requires its own personal Austrian passport or if it is permitted by the entry requirements of the host country a personal Austrian national ID card when crossing the border.

From 3 August the following special entry requirements are valid for entry into Austria from Spain and Cyprus. No entry permit visa is needed to stay. Issued in the last 10 years and it should be valid for at least 3 months after your date of departure. You will need s ufficient proof of funds and a return plane ticket.
